Hotel virtual tours and visual production in the Caribbean and internationally

Quintessence is Anguilla's first Relais & Châteaux hotel, twelve rooms and suites above Long Bay, each individually designed rather than repeated from a template. Julian's, the hotel's bistro, holds a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Guests arriving at this level expect to know exactly what they are booking, and a gallery of stills cannot show them which suite is theirs.

I captured ninety-two panoramas covering the property the way a guest moves through it: the arrival fountain, the Grand Lobby and its staircase, every room and suite, Julian's and the Patio Bar, the Q Wine Cellar, the pool terrace and the beach. Each panorama is individually addressable, so a single suite or the restaurant can be linked directly from the website, a sales email or a wedding planner's proposal.

A hotel with a dozen distinct rooms, a restaurant, a cellar and a beach has more to show than a local photographer's afternoon can cover, and a virtual tour done badly is worse than none. The Quintessence tour was shot in a single stay and delivered as a self-hosted tour the hotel controls, with stills extracted from the panoramas for use across the website and social.

I take on international work where the property is the kind that benefits from it: individually designed rooms, a strong food and wine story, or a setting that has to be experienced to be believed. Travel is quoted per project and folded into a single fixed price.

Once I am on the island, adding a hero film, drone aerials and a photography library to the trip is the efficient way to do it. For Quintessence the scope was the tour plus drone; for most international properties I recommend the full set so the website, OTA listings and press kit all draw on the same imagery.
